Watch Apple (AAPL) At The 50 Day Moving Average

Posted: Thursday 26 January 2006 - Wall Street Section

The 50 day moving average on Apple stock back in October held beautifully offering up some tremendous profits. And now the stock is dancing around this level again.

Interesting to see how it handles it and you just know the whole market is watching.

If you think last weeks selloff on the Nasdaq was a taster of a rocky February then a good strategy would be to wait for a bounce which gets everyone long and then be aggressive on the short side should it start to weaken.

In a situation such as this quick profits would be made and should be taken. Unwise to overstay on the short side as if this is a top in the overall market there's bound to be a retest (of the old highs) sometime in the future.
